Plain language on what is stored, what is not, and how to switch off what you do not want.

The short version
What we collect
Nothing you type, unless you email us. No accounts, no logins, no comment system, no ratings. Advertising and analytics partners set their own cookies in your browser.
What we do not collect
No names, no payment details, no Chipotle account information, no order history. We never see any of it because the site never asks for it.
Your controls
Personalized advertising can be switched off at Google Ad Settings, and every cookie on this site can be blocked or cleared in your browser without breaking the pages.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to ChipotlePromoCodes.us at https://chipotle-promo-codes.us and to nothing else. Links from this site to Chipotle, to delivery platforms and to news sources lead to services with their own policies, and this policy has no bearing on what those services do once you arrive there.
Information you give us
The only route by which you can send us information is the contact page, which opens your own email client with a message you write yourself. If you send that message we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply to you and to correct the site where you have reported something wrong.
We do not add contact addresses to a mailing list, we do not sell or share them, and we do not use them for anything except replying and acting on what you told us. There is no newsletter on this site and no signup form anywhere on it.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, this one is served by infrastructure that records standard technical information in server logs: the IP address the request came from, the browser and operating system reported by that browser, the page requested, and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site working and to identify abuse. It is not used to build a profile of you and it is not combined with anything else.
Cookies and advertising
This site is funded by advertising, and advertising is what places cookies here. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

It makes the advertising less specific to you.

Analytics
Aggregate analytics may be used to understand which pages are read and which are not, so the site can be improved. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify individual visitors. Where an analytics provider sets a cookie, the same browser controls described above apply to it.
What this site does not do
There are no user accounts on this site. There is no comment system and no ratings system, so nothing you might write is stored anywhere. There is no shopping basket, no checkout and no payment processing, because nothing is sold here. We do not ask for a date of birth, a postal address or a phone number at any point.
We do not receive any information about your Chipotle Rewards account, your orders or your payments. When you leave this site to order from Chipotle, everything that happens after that point is between you and Chipotle.
Browser storage
Some pages remember small preferences in your browser so the page behaves sensibly on a return visit. This information stays in your browser, is not transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings without affecting how the site works.
Children
This site is aimed at a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact page, write to hello@chipotle-promo-codes.us and it will be deleted.
Your rights
Because this site collects so little, most data rights requests resolve quickly. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be. If you are in a jurisdiction with a statutory right of access, correction, deletion or portability, including under the GDPR or the CCPA, write to hello@chipotle-promo-codes.us and we will respond within the period that law requires.
Requests relating to advertising cookies set by third parties are best directed at those parties, since we do not hold that data. The opt out links above are the fastest route.

This site links to Chipotle, to news sources, to Chipotle newsroom and investor releases, and to deal sites where a reported code came from. Those links exist so you can check what we have written. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly. The current version is always the one on this page.
